Restaurant Review: V.G. Burgers

Last night, Jeffrey, Kristin, Jordan and I decided to try the highly acclaimed V.G.’s Burgers located on the corner of Broadway and Arapahoe . I was told by the Boulder Vegan Meetup group that they were hosting an event called “Truth Fest” with speakers and musicians. We arrived at 8:00 pm, starving from the grueling walk down “The Hill”.

The Menu was amazing. There were so many options to choose from and to my surprise, EVERYTHING WAS VEGAN!  I ordered the Black Bean Burger, Jeffrey ordered the Veggie Burger, Kristin ordered the Thai Peanut Salad, and for dessert we split an Açaí Bowl.

“It’s more flavorful than any meat I’ve ever had.”-Kristin

“Well worth the money for the fresh ingredients and quality taste.”-Jeffrey

VG Burgers uses all organic, locally grown ingredients. They are committed to providing the community with healthy, ethical food. The prices may be a little steep, however for fresh, local,

organic ingredients, the prices are very fair.

I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone in the Boulder area. The have great food, great service, kind people and a very friendly environment.

The Vegan College Student’s First Blog Post

Hi Everyone!

My name is Ali Tadayon, and I am a vegan college student. I am majoring in journalism at the University of Colorado at Boulder. I am originally from San Diego, California, where I embraced veganism and decided to devote my life to the prevention of suffering towards all living creatures.

I have created this blog in order to reach out to other vegan college students and provide information on different aspects of vegan culture as well as current events pertaining to animal rights/liberation.

I plan on posting book reviews, interviews, recipes, resturant reviews, news, music reviews and tons more.

If you wish to contact me for ideas, books you would like me to review, resturants you love, or anything at all, my email is I can’t wait to see what this experience has in store for me!
